در محراب عشق سقائی می‌کردند

Were offering water on the altar of love

و ترانة رهائی می‌خواندند.

Were singing song of freedom

نسیم

Breeze

بوی گلهائی را که در دل عشاق شکفته می‌شد

The scent of flowers blossoming in lovers' heart

این سو و آن سو می‌برد.

Took this way and that

زمان برای ناسوتیان وجود

Time was for mortals of being

و برای ملکوتیان عَدَم بود.

And for Malakootians (Malakout is a level in mysticism after the Nasoot, which means approaching Allah) of nothingness

ملائیکه هر یک با قدهای کشیده

Angels each high in stature

در خلوت گاه خداجویان

In God-seekers ' solitude

در خدمت و ارادت بودند.

Them in high regard and respect they held

سیاهی شب،

Darkness of night

راه و حرکت را بر سیاه دلان بسته تا

Has closed the way to the dark-hearted so that

حقیقت جویان حق

Divine Truth-seekers

نور را در افق بیکران دل بیابند.

Find the light in boundless horizon of heart

سیر مسافرِ تنها

The (spiritual) movement of the lonely traveler

از ملکوت،

From Malakoot

در بستر حادث،

Through the tunnel of occurrence

در ماوراء زمان و مکان،

Beyond time and space

در نیمه شبِ دوشنبه در،

At midnight of Monday in

خط افقی روز،

Horizontal line of day

در نیم کره خاکی،

On earthly hemisphere

در عدد هو،

In Hoo (One of the names of God)'s number

و در بهار طبیعت،

And in the spring of nature

در سیر اعداد اربعه،

In divine intuition of numbers of four

در نقطه‌ای از کره خاکی،

In one part of earthly sphere

در انتهای کویر،

At the end of desert

در دامنه کوه البرز شمالی،

In the foothill of north Alborz (A high mountain in Iran)

در نقطه فرود صدای شب کویر،

The point where the voice of desert's night falls

در دروازه امواج مغناطیسی شمال و جنوب،

At the gate of north and south magnetic waves

در سرزمین عاشقان و عارفان،

In the land of mystics and divine-lovers

در شهرنامی مهدی شروع می‌شود…

باشروع روز،

By the break of day

امواج نفس نامطمئنه

Waves of physical soul (A soul or Nafs that can't be trusted. It is a means for Devil to take control of human and make him commit sins.)

تااعماق سلولهای انسانی نفوذ می‌کرد.

Penetrates into the depth of human cells

فرکانسهای سرگردان نفسانی

Wondering frequencies of physical soul

براعصاب وروان انسان

On the nerves and soul

اثر نامطلوب می‌گذاشت.

Had adverse effects

آفتاب

Sun

از شرق پرتو افشانی می‌کرد،

Was shinning from the east

انرژی هدایتی ،

Leading energy

نگهدارنده ،

Keeping

گرمایی ،

Warming

از خورشید ناسوتی،

From the temporal sun

برروی کوههای کبود وقهوه ای گسترش می یافت،

Was spreading out on the aquamarine and brown mountains

آفتاب با ذکر

Sunshine saying the name

با خالق

Of God

سماع کنان سایه کوه سربه فلک کشیده را ازبین می‌برد،

Was dancing (spiritually) clearing shadow of the towering mountain

گُسل ها با دریافت انرژی از شمس

Rifts by receiving energy from the sun

به حیات خود ادامه می دادند،

Lived on

هوا پرستان باوجود نور

Pleasure-seekers, despite the light

همچنان در تاریکی درون زندانی بودند ،

Were still imprisoned in the darkness inside

کروبیان بانور در یک راستا

Karoobian (People who are in constant spiritual love with God) along the same line with light

به حیات معنوی خود ادامه می دادند ،

Lived on their spiritual life

کوهها

Mountains

با ذکرشبانه شب را به شفق رسانیده بودند ،

Praising God from night to dawn

ملکوتیان

Malakootian

با رضایت ازشب

Happy with night

روزه را با آب دیده شروع کرده بودند ،

Started their fast (A religious act) with crying

ملائکه

Angles

هریک درمکان وزمان خاص ناسوتی

Each in a special temporal place and time

در لامکان جبروتی به فعالیت مشغول بودند ،

Were doing things in the placeless of Jabarout (The world of angels)

اما ، ، ، ، ، ، ، مسافر تنها ؛

But …the lonely traveler

از تاریکی بطن

From the inner darkness

به ظلمات گاه نفس ناسوتیان آمده بود،

Had come to the dark-house of the temporals

روح او

His spirit

از نفقة من روحی بود

Was an example of this holy verse of Koran, "I (God) have breathed into you of my spirit."

جسم از سلب پدرو مادر

Body from His father and mother's loins

روح مسافر

Traveler's spirit

از وحدت با جسم اکراه داشت ،

Disliked uniting with body

امر حق این بود

God's will was this

تا در تاریکخانه ناسوت

In dark-house of earthly world he

به اوج معرفت و روشنایی برسد،

Climbs the peak of cognition and lightness

ملائکه ها از حیات معنوی روح وجسم و ریاضت ؛کمال؛ صحبت میکردند

Angels talked about the spiritual life of body and spirit, mortification and (spiritual) perfection

مسافر می خندید

The traveler laughed

مسافر با بیان رنج وعذاب ؛ گناه ؛ عصیان و معصیت ؛ حجاب ظلمانی توسط

The traveler expressed pain and torment, sin, disobedience, guilt, and the spiritual veil, and then cried with angels

شور و نشاطی در خانواده حکمفرما شده بود.

Happiness ascended the throne of the family

برادر بزرگتر صاحب همدم شده

Older brother had a companion now

و پدر در غربت

Father in loneliness

با ذکر خود

Praising God

هم آوا با صدای ذکر طبیعت

In harmony with nature's praise

در حال سپری نمودن عمر خود بود.

Was spending his life

پدر در شب

Father at night

با ستارگان در یک راستا حرکت می‌کردند

Along the same path moved with stars

و مناجات شبانه را

And the nightly prayer

در پرتو نور ماه نجوا می‌کرد.

Whispered under the moonlight

سکوت شب

Night's silence

با ذکر ذرات در طبیعت شکسته می‌شد

Was broken by (God's) praise-voice of particles in nature

و امواج در حال انجام وظیفه بودند.

And frequencies were doing there duties

صدای ذکر

The voice of (God's) praise

نباتات و جانوران وذرات کانی در آخرین لحظات شب

Of plants, animals, and inorganic particles

گوش را نجوا می‌داد.

Was pleasant to ears

پدر بیخبر بود.

Father was unaware

سفیری از دیار دور خبر داد

An envoy from the faraway land had a message

که صاحب فرزندی پسر شدی.

That your wife gave birth to a son

پدر

Father

‌

درشیب کوه‌به شکرانه این نعمت

On the mountain-slope to thank this blessing

دست بسوی باریتعالی بلند کرد

Raised his hands high towards God

و شکر خدا رابجای آورد

And praised God

چون لیاقت خدمت

For he was honored

به‌حق نصیب او گشته

To serve God

تابا زحمات‌و کوشش باشغل انبیاء

So that by taking pains and efforts in prophets' job

مسافر را پذیرایی‌کند

Warmly welcomes the traveler

و مانند باغبانی از نهال جوان مواظبت نماید .

And like a gardener Takes care of the young sapling

مسافردر هیبت بود،

The traveler looked awesome

روح بر جسم فرمان می‌داد

Spirit had control over body

، جسم به علت عدم مهارت

Body for he was not skilled

از فرمان برداری عاجز بود.

Didn't like to obey

روح که از بهشت به علت خوردن دانه

Spirit who for eating the seed, from paradise

رانده شده بود

Was exiled

و می‌دانست که عفو و محبت حق

And he knew that God's Mercy and Kindness

شامل او

Had embraced him

و بخشش و رحمانیت حضرت باریتعالی

God's forgiveness and benevolence

به نمایش گذاشته شده.

Was showed off

روح

Spirit

به علت سرپیچی و فریب شیطان

For disobedience and because of Devil's deceit

دانه علم آگاهی را خورده

Has eaten the seed of knowledge and awareness

و بایستی در تن

And in body

که از عالم پست انسان است

Which is from the low world of human

اسیر شود

Has to be imprisoned

و سپس روح

Then spirit

با سفت شدن قسمت استخوان پیشانی سر

After The bone of forehead hardens

و آموختن علم

And after acquiring knowledge

و با خوردن همان دانه با کمک جسم می‌بایستی حرکت کند

By eating the very seed with the aid of body has to (Spiritually) improve

و به سوی تکامل برود

And moves toward (spiritual) perfection

و آنچه در عالم قبل انجام داده بود

And what he had done in the former world

حال می‌بایستی در روی کره خاکی

Should now on earth

با علم و عمل به باطن برسد

Reach the real self by knowledge and practice

و انا لله و انا الیه راجعون شود.

And become this verse of holy Koran "We are indeed created by Allah and To Allah we indeed do return."

مسافر

The traveler

جهت تکمیل به عالم خاکی پا نهاده بود

Has come to this world to become perfect

و بایستی عوالم زیادی را طی کرده

And has to pass many worlds

تا بهای خوردن دانه را بپردازد.

To compensate for eating the seed

مسافر

The traveler

با قرار گرفتن درجسم احتیاج به هویت داشت

When put into the body needed an identity

و آن اسم بود

And that was name

تا بتواند در ناسوت زندگی کند

So that to live in the temporal life

و اسم مسافر از قبل تعیین شده بود

And the traveler's name was decided before

و می‌بایست

And has to

با جسم همخوانی داشته باشد.

Correspond with body

اعضای خانواده

Members of the family

در ذهن خود اسم‌ها را مرور می‌کردند.

Reviewed names in their minds

مادر

Mother

باغبان عشق بود

Was the gardener of love

و در درون خود

And inside

اسراری را نگهبانی می‌کرد

Kept some secrets

تا به موقع از آن استفاده کند.

To use on the right time

روح مسافر،

The traveler's spirit

در کالبدی که مادر میزبان آن روح بود

In the body whose host was mother

دمیده شد

Was blown (infused)

و آن اسم عباس بود.

And that name was Abbas.

Mother

در زمان میزبانی

At the time of hosting

دچار درد چشم عجیبی شده بود.

Had severe sore eyes

و در غروب آن ایام

And in the sunset of those days

در اطاقی درد را آنچنان حس می‌کرد

In a room, was feeling so terrible a pain

که گوئی جسم در حال افول است.

As if her body's strength was about to end

اثر داروی ظاهری بی‌نتیجه مانده بود.

The effect of the material drug had proved useless
